Harmonic oscillation suppression in position control of induction motors

An active vibration control approach for suppression of harmonic mechanical oscillations and, simultaneously, efficient tracking of angular position trajectories for induction motor is proposed. The introduced forced oscillation suppression scheme is based on virtual dynamic vibration absorbers. Numerical results are also presented to depict the capability of the original dynamic control approach for suppression of synchronous vibrations. A effective position trajectory tracking specified for an induction motor in presence of harmonic disturbing torque is shown as well.
