What is the guiding line of our lives today? What drives the younger generations towards their goals? On adaily basis, these issues causecontroversy in the media and social networks, and they are often answered in a subjective and heavily biased way in order to create false needs within the world population. Are we aware of the fundamental human value over the more pragmatic aspects? Apparently, this is unclear due to diverse situations now interacting. The purpose of this paper is to think about the meaning of human society invaded by materialistic approaches and the social media.
