    The three senses of definition in Aristotle refer to the principal, the middle and the conclusion of a demonstration. I denominate reciprocatio the relation between the three senses of definition: a demonstration is a definition that has its predicates in mutual or reciprocal relationship between them. In this article I show some examples of definitions and demonstrations, that is, of reciprocationes, in the Aristotelian corpus, in the zoology, in metaphysics and in ethics. . © Cauriensia: Revista Anual de Ciencias Eclesiásticas
