Abstract
Dear sir: Use of postoperative drains in breast surgery remains a common practice even though their merits continue to be debated [1]. Sutures continue to be the most common fixation method by applying a stitch to the skin and looping suture material around the drain in the form of a ‘Roman garter’. This method can be associated with complications such as suture slippage with drain dislodgment, infection, skin marks or irritation © Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
