Abstract
Frente a la situación de ateísmo teórico y práctico que prevalece en este contexto, el presente trabajo es una síntesis de los fundamentos filosóficos sobre Dios que constituye el tema más importante de la Filosofía. Se trata de un esfuerzo por presentar de manera sintética y clara lo que se refiere al Ser, la Existencia, la Esencia y las Perfecciones divinas, y sobre el hecho de que todo ser, toda permanencia en el ser y todo acrecentamiento de las creaturas se funda y es causado por Dios que es el Ser en sí y por sí, Causa primera y Causa final de todo lo existente. Es un intento por mostrar el brillo de la doctrina presentada por Santo Tomás de Aquino y por hacer ver que, a pesar de lo que haya podido decirse, la síntesis del Aquinate, acabada en sus principios y abierta en sus conclusiones, contiene un valor perenne que hasta el momento ha sido insuperable. Abstract: Faced with the situation of theoretical and practical atheism prevalent in this context, this paper is a synthesis of the philosophical foundations of God, which is the most important issue of philosophy. It is an effort to present synthetically and clearly everything related to the Being, the Existence, the Essence and the Divine perfections, and the fact that any being, any remaining in being and any growth of creatures is founded and is caused by God who is the Being in and of Himself, the first cause and the final cause of all that exists. It is an attempt to show the brilliance of the doctrine presented by St. Thomas Aquinas and to show that the synthesis of Aquinas, finished in its principles and open in its conclusions, contains a perennial value that, despite what has been said, has not yet been surpassed.
