Abstract
Construction has always been a profession full of challenges and multidisciplinary
knowledge, which over time has undergone few changes in its construction
methods and procedures, leading to the lack of proper control of economic and
human resources on many occasions. Thanks to the application and use of
technology, many of these procedures have had an improvement in time and form
before, during and after the execution of a civil works project, reducing the
probability of having over costs and also comply with the goals and competitive
results that make the construction company a competitive entity.
The constant change and facilities of technology in the construction industry have
gone almost unnoticed in recent years in Mexico, these tools have not been used
and used properly due to prejudices and lack of knowledge on the part of the
National construction assets. Day by day the local and global competition is
becoming stronger, demanding the incorporation of facilities for a better practice of
the construction execution, to achieve the opening of clients and a market waiting
to be explored by new competences.
Reaching the objective of this thesis, which is to propose the application and
realization of an ERP software that is capable of responding to instant
communication between departments thanks to the Cloud, which can be Private is
in particular case of a construction company, managing and guaranteeing the
economic purposes projected in each stage of the construction, being the starting
point for a better decision making in front of a competitive market, in search of a
continuous improvement on the part of all its members involved in it.
