Abstract
Granja Urbana is a delicatessen store specialized in meat and farm products (dairy,
honey, egg, snack, etc.), opened its doors in October 2018, with a single store in
Zapopan, Jalisco.
This delicatessen is characterized mainly in being a commercial seller of "La Posta"
located in Tepatitlán, Jalisco. However, by internal agreements Mrs. Laura Gallegos
owner of Granja Urbana, can sell other type of products that are need for a housewife
like dressings, seasonings, cereals, etc.
Granja Urbana excels mainly in offering farm products without intermediaries, most
meat and dairy products come directly from La Posta. La Posta is a company that
offers pesticide-free products, Angus cuts of meat and 100% fresh products.
Currently it is desired to have a better performance in the administration of the
company, a review of the points of opportunity will be developed during this document.
It is intended to perform a better management by implementing a software system, in
order to work better with supplies, resource management and sales, reducing service
time and improving customer service.
With an analysis of the opportunity points of the company, a strong study will be
developed in order to apply Lean methodologies, quality systems, strategic planning,
processes, manuals, sales strategy, inventory control, for getting an efficient process
in order to reach maturity in the short term.
