    La escucha: una herramienta para combatir la injusticia hermenéutica

    La injusticia epistémica suele pensarse como una forma de exclusión. Así como hay distintas formas y grados de exclusión, las hay de injusticia epistémica. Aquí argumento que una herramienta fundamental para el combate de sus casos más robustos es la escucha, entendida como una disposición a dejarse afectar por las otras personas. La idea central es que escuchar tiene una dimensión colectiva y depende de una reestructuración de las relaciones sociales. Para defender esto, presento algunas de las maneras clásicas de concebir la injusticia hermenéutica. Posteriormente hago ver su relación con distintos modos de exclusión. Este paso me lleva a proponer la noción de “injusticia hermenéutica arquitectónica”. Muestro que combatirla requiere más que mecanismos de inclusión y sugiero que vale la pena explorar otras vías para hacerlo, entre ellas la promoción de una cultura de la escucha que involucra una transformación de nuestras estructuras sociales.

    Jóvenes en la interculturalidad: los casos de universidades interculturales de Chiapas e Hidalgo

    From the First Meeting between the currently 12 Intercultural Universities present in the same number of states in Mexico, it was possible to issue a call for young students and graduates of them (From August 5 to September 10, 2021). In order for them to share their experiences on integral education and their community work at the Intercultural University of Chiapas (UNICH) and the Intercultural University of the state of Hidalgo (UIEH) mainly. The instrument was answered by a sample of around 500 young people from 19 different native languages and consisted of 25 questions (18 items closed and 7 open). Greater participation of women stands out. A higher percentage (~45%) choose these universities for the degrees they offer. Three out of ten young people mentioned possible desertion due to economic problems and finally community involvement, the essential activity that should be given greater support in all senses.
