The objective of this research is to analyze Mexico´s tax structure and policy to determine
the factors that affect the low tax collection compared to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development country members. Evaluating the tax rates established in Laws,
fiscal structures, and the socioeconomic situation of the country, in order to propose possible
alternatives to increase tax collection and decrease tax evasion in Mexico through incentives
and efficient tax structures
