    Philosophical foundations for a pedagogy of culture
The general objective of this paper is to elaborate a pedagogical reading of Ernst Cassirer’sPhilosophy of Symbolic Forms, focusing on the Phenomenology of Knowledge where the author detailsthat the foundations adduced by Paul Natorp, in Introduction to Psychology constitute a critical viewof psychology as the foundation of intellectual operations. In general, there are three results to beshown: first, it will be shown that this recovery of the Natorpian vision allows Cassirer to maintainthat all cultural activity (language, mythology, art, science, etc.) has as its foundation the psychologicalactivities of the subject, which implies that all symbolic formation is both an intellectual product ofthe individual and a cultural activity. Second, it will be shown that part of the development of acritical psychology, in accordance with Natorp’s general plan, is the need for a theory of formationthat explains how the cultural environment shapes the intellectual activities of the subject, a generalthesis assumed by Cassirer for the development of his theory of the symbol. Finally, it will be notedthat the cultural formative agents considered by Natorp for the formation of the individual (state,art and religion, mainly) constitute the theoretical bases of culture on which the student will laterdevelop his theory of language, myth/religion, art and science as cultural formations.

    Ernst Cassirer: una fundamentaciĂłn biolĂłgica de la definiciĂłn del ser humano como "animal simbĂłlico"
    This paper analyses the biological foundation of a new definition of human nature, as proposed by Ernst Cassirer. Based on the state of the art, Cassirer’s Philosophy relies, for the most part, on the biological research in order to develop a definition of the human being’s symbolic nature. It will be shown that Cassirer’s analysis considers three key elements: 1) Uexküll theoretical biology; 2) aphasia and apraxia studies; 3) and a detailed philosophical consideration of both former and latter elements. The ensemble of all three elements offers a new perspective on the biological fundamentals in which the Neokatian philosopher supports his definition of human being a symbolic animal

    ÂżSon las computadoras agentes inteligentes capaces de conocimiento?
    (2023) ;
    MartĂnez-Barba, Daniel A.
    The aim of this paper is to study the philosophical foundations of the programming architecture in two Artificial Intelligence sys-tems (AlphaGo and Hide and Seek). The problem elucidates the epistemological distinction of the concepts “knowledge,” “intuition” and “abduc-tion,” in order to define whether the successful fulfillment of a programmed metric, by a com-puter, is a sufficient condition to attribute intelli-gent behavior to it. Through the analysis of both examples, two issues are shown: i) the successful fulfillment of a programmed objective offers new knowledge resources, ii) such knowledge depends on the execution of a program whose processing is developed by an AI and, therefore, the opera-tions exceed human intellectual capabilities. The conclusions point to the fact that computers are special hypothesis-testing knowledge resources.

    Las reformas constitucionales del artículo 3°: una relectura pedagógica a sus reformas educativas
    (Universidad Panamericana, Escuela de PedagogĂa, 2018-12-28) ; ;
    Universidad Panamericana. Campus Ciudad de México. Escuela de Pedagogía
    In this paper, we analyze the Constitutional Reforms (CR) of Article 3° (1934-2016), to evaluate whether the translation in Educational Reforms (RE) has translated the set of constitutional ideals. The method of work is as follows: with the construction of the concepts of Political Pedagogy and Curriculum (as a political instrument), in a second section, a critical reading of the different CR to Art. 3 is elaborated. Three results are reached: first, that Article 3 is the ideal and legal framework that the Mexican State must promote through the SRs and their curricular proposals. Second, the first RC (1934-1993) promoted a nation project through a Political Pedagogy. Third, the general structure of the last SR (2002-2016), by privileging the international character in the different curricular proposals, has neglected the criterion of national identity
