Ángel María Garibay: un comunicador de tradiciones

Este artículo tiene la pretensión de mostrar cómo y de qué manera la poesía y la comunicación, confluyen en los antiguos escritos mexicanos a través de la pluma del humanista Ángel María Garibay. El padre Garibay fue más que un paleógrafo y traductor de los antiguos cantares de México, también evitalizó la poética náhuatl al poner a disposición comunicativa su sentido espiritual más profundo. En este trabajo, ofrecemos un preámbulo biográfico del Dr. Garibay y, enseguida, exponemos en una parte (A), algunas razones que nos hacen proponer y entender a la hermenéutica como comunicación en el trabajo poético del padre Garibay, para con ello, en una parte (B), fijar un mínimo de criterios para comprender la disposición natural de la lengua náhuatl hacia el fenómeno poético y, al final, en una parte (C) exponer y comentar la tipografía estética que el mismo Garibay conformó, después de estudiar, sistematizar y comunicar sus hallazgos en la materia.

This article aims to show how and in what way poetry and communication converge in ancient Mexican writings through the pen of the humanist Ángel María Garibay. Father Garibay was more than a paleographer and translator of the ancient songs of Mexico, he also revitalized Nahuatl poetics by making his deepest spiritual sense available to communication. In this work, we offer a biographical preamble of Dr. Garibay and, next, we will expose in part (A), some reasons that make us propose and understand hermeneutics as communication in the poetic work of Father Garibay, for this, in one part (B), to set a minimum of criteria to understand the natural disposition of the Nahuatl language towards the poetic phenomenon and, at the end, in one part (C) to expose and comment on the aesthetic typography that Garibay himself created, after studying , systematize and communicate their findings on the matter.
