Abstract
This paper presents the measurement of satisfaction of the tourist transport user (a tourist) regarding tourist tours in Mexico City. The conceptualization of satisfaction from inte-grated factors in various dimensions is exhibited. The design and implementation of a survey provided information to measure the user’s comfort. The results obtained concern four factors: waiting time, means used to get information about tourist transports, audio guide in the bus, and safety during the tour; the waiting time to access the tourist bus is the most significant element for the tourist. The measurement of the satisfaction of the tourist transport service user showed in this paper brings information that allows the administrators/ma-nagers, directly, to identify the elements that should be prima-rily addressed and those with adequate levels of satisfaction. In addition, the information obtained is not sumptuous, and the indicators are directly interpreted at the management le-vel, which shortens the response time of the company to the expectations of the users (clients), which is supported by the estimation of an orderly choice model that represents the user’s satisfaction
