Abstract
This thesis, titled "ADMINISTRACIÓN PARA PYMES Y SU GESTIÓN EN OBRA EN LA ZONA METROPOLITANA DE GUADALAJARA" (Administration for SMEs and their Project Management in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area), addresses the administrative and operational challenges faced by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the construction sector. The central hypothesis is that the lack of structured and formalized management processes hinders the efficiency and competitiveness of these companies. The research conducts a diagnostic analysis of the common administrative practices in these SMEs and identifies critical issues related to project planning, cost control, human resource management, and material logistics. The study concludes that many of these businesses rely on informal management styles that are unsustainable in a complex market. To solve this, the thesis proposes a new administrative model tailored to the specific needs of SMEs in construction, aiming to provide a practical guide that institutionalizes key processes. The goal is to help these companies overcome their administrative deficiencies, improve their on-site management, and secure sustainable growth within the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.
