Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to develop a comparative review of a subject little studied by the mexican legal doctrine, the advance directives or living will. This study could be made considering different aspects under medical and legal practice, but for methodological reasons will only be from its concept, definition and content. For them it is essential to start with a brief bioethics discussion of these items to have the possibility of a serious legal study and formulate some conclusions. © Boletín Mexicano de Derecho Comparado
