Abstract
Negative pressure wound therapy is an effective and safe procedure to promote wound healing. We present the case of a 62 year-old male that required negative pressure wound therapy for a thoracic ulcer secondary to the resection of a subescapular tumor. A literature review on the use of negative pressure wound therapy is provided. © Dermatología Revista Mexicana
