Abstract
In order to face the quia. iations of their environment, the dynamics of industrial companies have considerably increased, both in terms of product evolution, organizational changes and people mobility. Therefore, capitalization of knowledge and competences becomes a major issue of the Industrial world, especially in large companies that may be subject to an important turn over, either internal or external. This paper presents the general aspects of a research study conducted on knowledge capitalization and competence management based on our proposed human resources modeling framework and tool. It applies concepts developed in this study in order to assess competences and exploit knowledge in many case studies and real applications.
