Item type:Publication, La importancia del diseño para mujeres en el comercio informalEl comercio informal en México representa un componente esencial de la economía, ya que genera empleo e ingresos para sectores vulnerables. Este estudio se centra en las “nenis”, emprendedoras que utilizan plataformas digitales para vender productos que entregan en espacios públicos, como el Parque Rojo en Guadalajara. A través de entrevistas y observación de campo, se identificaron los principales desafíos que estas mujeres enfrentan: problemas de transporte, falta de infraestructura en los espacios de venta, inseguridad y condiciones de salud precarias. Estos obstáculos no solo limitan su capacidad de crecimiento, sino también su estabilidad económica y personal. Las soluciones de diseño emergen como herramientas clave para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo de las nenis. Las propuestas incluyen el desarrollo de sistemas de transporte ligeros y modulares, optimización de los stands de venta y creación de espacios más seguros y funcionales. La implementación de estas intervenciones tiene el potencial de aumentar la productividad de las nenis, profesionalizar sus negocios y mejorar su calidad de vida.
