Entre la conexión y el agotamiento: reconsiderando el vínculo humano-tecnología en la sociedad moderna

Introducción: A partir de 2019, la pandemia de COVID-19 aceleró la adopción de programas y trabajo en línea a nivel mundial. Millones de personas tuvieron que adaptarse al encierro y la interacción digital prolongada. Si bien esto trajo nuevas posibilidades de estudio y trabajo remoto, también tuvo consecuencias negativas. Este artículo investiga la naturaleza paradójica del progreso tecnológico, enfocándose en su capacidad para inducir una fatiga social generalizada. Metodología: Mediante un análisis cualitativo de textos filosóficos contemporáneos, especialmente de Byung-Chul Han, se examina cómo la interacción continua con la tecnología afecta las dimensiones físicas, psicológicas y sociales del ser humano. Resultados y discusión: Las conclusiones sugieren que, si bien la tecnología promete una mejor conexión, puede fomentar alienación, especialmente en las redes sociales, donde las interacciones digitales reemplazan el contacto humano genuino. Además, la inmediatez de la comunicación digital promueve intercambios superficiales, debilitando la capacidad para un entendimiento profundo y el pensamiento crítico. Conclusiones: El documento plantea que la interacción entre avances tecnológicos y agotamiento social desafía la condición humana, lo que requiere una reevaluación crítica de nuestra relación con la tecnología. Se sugiere un enfoque equilibrado que promueva una integración sostenible y empática de la tecnología en la vida cotidiana. ©La autora ©European Public & Social Innovation Review.

Literature Mapping on the Ethical Regulation of OLLMs in Higher Education: Transparency, Privacy, and Fairness

Open Large Language Models (OLLMs) has sparked a growing debate about their ethical and legal implications, particularly in the context of higher education institutions. This study, based on a literature mapping, explores the evolution of OLLMs regulation and governance in academia, highlighting challenges related to transparency, privacy, and fairness. The central objective of this analysis is to identify the main trends in the literature that address the ethical regulation of OLLMs in education, with emphasis on the evolution of regulatory frameworks and proposed strategies for effective governance. Through the examination of 51 indexed academic articles, a thematic classification was carried out based on three key research questions, which made it possible to identify patterns in the academic discussion and visualize the findings through graphical representations. The results suggest that the ethical governance of OLLMs is a determining factor in their responsible implementation. The literature emphasizes the need to strengthen regulations around algorithmic transparency, student data protection, and equity in access to these technologies. In addition, the importance of interdisciplinary approaches that integrate perspectives from law, ethics, and technology for the development of inclusive and sustainable policies has been found. ©The authors ©Springer.

Introducción: La naturaleza humana otorga derechos inalienables a los individuos, esenciales para desempeñar su función en el mundo y conocer sus obligaciones hacia sí mismos y hacia los demás. Estos derechos deben ser respetados por individuos y sociedades para mantener un equilibrio en las interacciones sociales. Objetivos: Mostrar cómo el uso actual de las redes sociales va en contra de los Derechos Humanos debido a que, a través de los algoritmos, se manipula para la toma de decisiones en diferentes ámbitos. Metodología: Este estudio utiliza un enfoque cualitativo, basado en la revisión de literatura y análisis de estudios previos sobre el impacto de la tecnología y los medios digitales en los Derechos Humanos. Se analizaron fuentes académicas, informes sobre el uso de algoritmos y el efecto de las redes sociales en la comunicación interpersonal. Resultados y Discusión: Los hallazgos sugieren que la proliferación de tecnologías y plataformas digitales ha disminuido la comunicación verbal y debilitado las relaciones personales. Además, el uso de algoritmos para personalizar el contenido compromete la libertad de los usuarios, quienes no son conscientes de cómo se manipulan sus interacciones en línea. Conclusiones: Los medios digitales tienen un impacto significativo en los Derechos Humanos, particularmente en la libertad individual y la calidad de las relaciones personales. Este trabajo subraya la importancia de que la tecnología fomente un ambiente seguro y favorable para los seres humanos, alineado con los principios de los Derechos Humanos. ©Los autores ©Forum XXI ©European Public & Social Innovation Review.

Ethical and regulatory challenges of Generative AI in education: a systematic review

Introduction: Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is transforming education by enabling personalized learning and more efficient teaching practices. However, it raises critical ethical concerns, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and educational inequality, requiring comprehensive regulatory frameworks and pedagogical strategies. Methods: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted, analyzing 53 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2024. The search was performed in Scopus and Web of Science using defined inclusion criteria focused on GenAI applications in education. Data were synthesized thematically and supported by theoretical frameworks from ethics, regulation, and learning sciences. Results: The findings reveal that while GenAI enhances personalized feedback, instructional automation, and learning accessibility, it simultaneously introduces risks such as loss of cognitive autonomy, institutional misuse of student data, and lack of regulatory oversight. Case studies from Stanford and the University of Toronto illustrate both opportunities and limitations of GenAI adoption in higher education. Discussion: GenAI can benefit education if implemented within ethical, legal, and pedagogical boundaries. The study highlights the urgency of designing inclusive regulatory frameworks, strengthening digital literacy, and integrating GenAI tools with constructivist and self-determined learning models. Construcción y deconstrucción de la realidad: perspectivas filosóficas sobre la percepción y los medios

Introducción: El ser humano se ha desarrollado a lo largo de los años mediante la interacción con el mundo y su entorno social. Este proceso ha permitido la transformación del entorno a través del aprendizaje de los demás, planteando preguntas sobre las facultades que permiten este desarrollo. Este trabajo explora la naturaleza de la adquisición de conocimiento en los seres humanos mediante los sentidos y experiencias, integrando perspectivas de Aristóteles, Marshall McLuhan y Humberto Maturana. Metodología: Se adopta un análisis teórico que combina revisión bibliográfica con interpretación filosófica y teórica. Se revisan textos clave como "De Anima" de Aristóteles, "Understanding Media" de McLuhan, y "El árbol del conocimiento" de Maturana, aplicándolos a ejemplos contemporáneos que ilustran la interacción entre percepción, medios y experiencia. Resultados y Discusión: Aristóteles enfatiza los sentidos como inicio del conocimiento, Maturana ve la cognición como un proceso biológico, y McLuhan sugiere que los medios tecnológicos reconfiguran este proceso. Estas teorías ayudan a explicar cómo las herramientas tecnológicas afectan el conocimiento humano y cómo los contextos mediáticos pueden moldear o distorsionar la percepción. Conclusión: La interacción entre biología y tecnologías de comunicación crea un campo dinámico donde la realidad se construye y deconstruye continuamente, subrayando la importancia de comprender cómo los medios influyen en nuestra percepción del mundo. ©La autora ©HISIN (History of Information Systems).
