Abstract
This thesis, "La importancia de la implementación de un Sistema de Cumplimiento Normativo en las empresas privadas de México" , argues for the critical need to promote the adoption of regulatory compliance systems within Mexico's private sector to combat the country's severe corruption crisis and foster an ethical business culture. The study highlights that, unlike financial institutions, private companies are generally not legally obligated to implement these systems. Using a deductive methodology , the research explores the relationship between ethics , corporate governance , and compliance management, analyzing international standards such as ISO 37301:2021 as a practical framework. The author concludes that while imposing a universal legal mandate may be unviable, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (MiPyMES) , actively encouraging the voluntary implementation of compliance systems—promoted by entities like Chambers of Commerce —is essential for risk detection , stability, transparency, and improving public perception.
