Abstract
The female characters created in the cinematographic industry respond to a stereotype which is endlessly utilized, with only a few variants. The analyses of female performances which rises from the struggle for vindication of women in the seventies look for a solid sustenance in various scientific disciplines. The present essay looks to rescue some of these visions which serve as inspiration for new reflections of an industry which continues to dominate the consumer market for movies at the world level.
