Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept of hospitality based on the philosophy of Martin Heidegger, from which the concepts of homesickness, inhabitation and world are taken. Hospitality must be understood as the possibility to relieve the homesickness of helpless people, providing them a space to make them develop practically. In its various forms, hospitality allows helpless people to integrate to a daily routine. That is, it invites them to inhabit the environment that earlier seemed odd. The host looks to encourage, through hospitality actions, coexistence.
