- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A mother is a living Home. Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Escuela de PedagogíaEcology could seem only a matter of knowledge and care for the environment, and the responsibility that human beings have with the rest of nature. This paper proposes a different view: Ecology, and more specifically the study of «arboreal society», as a «natural» approach to what the knowledge and care of the formative, aducational, and familiar communities is and should be.6 251 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Escuela de PedagogíaLeonardo Polo’s Transcendental Anthropology could be a substantial contribution to the foundation of «Education», that’s why it is pertinent to broaden its study and use it in the philosophy of education. Polo’s anthropology distinguishes in man a triple dimension: a) the human nature, composed of the body and the soul –with its faculties of intelligence and will– in a natural state; b) the human essence, consisting of the perfections acquired in nature –habits of the intelligence and virtues of the will– from the act of being through the innate habit of synderesis (the modern self); c) the personal act of being, composed by free coexistence, personal knowing and personal loving. Approaching issues of philosophy of education, Polo defines the educational task as «helping to grow», a notion he acquires from the Spanish edu-cator Tomás Alvira. Through a bibliographical review of Polo’s anthropological work, this concept of education is explored in depth. Analyzing the Polian writings, it is concluded that education must be developed from the person, because in this way, each man –unique and unrepeatable–, with the guidance and help of his educators, will be able to fulfill his intimate mission and grow in an unrestricted way in habits of the intelligence and virtues of the will.11 184 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Escuela de PedagogíaThis work is the result of a doctoral research, which purpose is to know how resilience is built in families that live with a child with disabilities. The questions are: How is family resilience built around a child’s disability? What is the dynamic of the family’s system facing disability? What elements of resilience are observed in families that experience disability with a son of their own? The premise of the study is that every family that has a child or sibling with a disability is capable of being resilient, so that the family can face adversity, identify their strengths and empower themselves based on their choices. To assess this claim, a qualitative methodology was applied with a study-case design and in depth interview with five families. Findings support the conclusion that resilience is a dynamic process that manifests itself in families during life.11 106 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The end of Liberalism? The Renaissance of the natural family?(Universidad Panamericana, Instituto de Humanidades, 2022-07) ;Carlson, Allan C. ;Hurtado Domínguez, RafaelUniversidad Panamericana. Campus Aguascalientes. Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Trabajo, don, cultura y economía: hacia un nuevo enfoque del problema económico(2020) ;Martínez-Echeverría y Ortega, Miguel AlfonsoThe recent recovery of the notion of gift has highlighted the importance of human life’s cultural dimension, contributing to the configuration of an economical approach based on a more robust and realistic anthropology that revolves around human sociability, sustained in the family, rather than the individual. The transformation of nature that takes place would not be possible without man’s ability to discover the possibilities that are hidden within nature itself, and that man makes clear through the contribution of his work with which he activates the most valuable elements of his act of being, namely his freedom, his ability to know and love. From an anthropological approach to economics, this work contributes to the reflection on the foundations and meaining of the economic activity. © 2020 Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, Servicio de Publicaciones.
