The general technological advances, the fact of human beings getting closer and closer in time and space, and the creation of new international communities, have all made possible the idea of a cosmopolitan citizenship; position in accordance with the idea that our world is the common house of humanity. And, at the same time, that world is divided in territories, which are the basis of the national citizenship. To defend our own identity and the roots grown by nationality, altogether with learning to participate in the promotion of a human development in accordance with personal dignity and with the world solidarity, is our great challenge, being citizens of the XXI Century. Our text presents proposals to face this challenge and to fight to reach a world where justice and peace allow us to live better, with an international openness.

Due to technological advances, people now have more time for leisure which is not always used to one's advantage, or it is often mistaken for idleness. There is usuallly not a healthy equillibrium between work and rest, the reason for this, being mostly of socio-cultural and educational origins. Therefore the importance of being of influence in this area. An important educational goal should be to achhieve working and resting capacity, taking into account each person's abilities and tastes for productive actions, and the enjoyment of moments of relaxation. An assertive use of time is knowing how to dedicate moments of leisure pot the following activities: restoring rest, fun, cultural development, impulse of creativity, and social mingling.

In order to carry out this task a study of the profile for each leader is made, as well as that of the follower, so as to identify the characteristic traits of each one them, as well as their role within labor activity. A leader is defined as a person that moves others due to his/her natural ability to show the way. The director doesn't necessarily have this charisma, but he/she knows how to make use of certain functions inherent to his/her office, such as sanctioning ability. Both, leaders and directors have a certain power over others, which has to be channeled toward the attainment of the objectives or goals of the institution. On their side, both followers and subordinates cannot be merely passive individuals, without the capacity of discernment. Without their active participation, even the best project will only be black-and-white printing. Labor activity is enriched when those who integrate the task force comply with their task with efficiency and group spirit, assuming by that the human dimension of work in its aception of labor and work is properly expressed. Lastly we present some proposals to enable college students for the transition between student environment to that of work with all the professionalism that is required by this new responsibility-be it as leaders, directors or followers-, in accord with personal situations and abilities.
