Escuela de PedagogíaEcology could seem only a matter of knowledge and care for the environment, and the responsibility that human beings have with the rest of nature. This paper proposes a different view: Ecology, and more specifically the study of «arboreal society», as a «natural» approach to what the knowledge and care of the formative, aducational, and familiar communities is and should be.6 251 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Escuela de PedagogíaLeonardo Polo’s Transcendental Anthropology could be a substantial contribution to the foundation of «Education», that’s why it is pertinent to broaden its study and use it in the philosophy of education. Polo’s anthropology distinguishes in man a triple dimension: a) the human nature, composed of the body and the soul –with its faculties of intelligence and will– in a natural state; b) the human essence, consisting of the perfections acquired in nature –habits of the intelligence and virtues of the will– from the act of being through the innate habit of synderesis (the modern self); c) the personal act of being, composed by free coexistence, personal knowing and personal loving. Approaching issues of philosophy of education, Polo defines the educational task as «helping to grow», a notion he acquires from the Spanish edu-cator Tomás Alvira. Through a bibliographical review of Polo’s anthropological work, this concept of education is explored in depth. Analyzing the Polian writings, it is concluded that education must be developed from the person, because in this way, each man –unique and unrepeatable–, with the guidance and help of his educators, will be able to fulfill his intimate mission and grow in an unrestricted way in habits of the intelligence and virtues of the will.11 184 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Escuela de PedagogíaThe Social Model of Disability opposes the analysis of disability from perspectives of specialists who analyze the phenomenon from outside, from positions of power, which place the target population as less valuable, unable to express their living conditions and to make decisions relevant about it. This work reports the life stories of a group of young people with disabilities, who at the time of the research were higher education students at a private uni-versity in Mexico City. Their stories allow us to observe recurrent patterns on the experien-ce of living with a disability, the recognition of being capable, intelligent, and autonomous young people. However, they also show evidence of the situations that they must overcome to eradicate society’s perception regarding uselessness and dependence.24 79 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Escuela de PedagogíaThis work is the result of a doctoral research, which purpose is to know how resilience is built in families that live with a child with disabilities. The questions are: How is family resilience built around a child’s disability? What is the dynamic of the family’s system facing disability? What elements of resilience are observed in families that experience disability with a son of their own? The premise of the study is that every family that has a child or sibling with a disability is capable of being resilient, so that the family can face adversity, identify their strengths and empower themselves based on their choices. To assess this claim, a qualitative methodology was applied with a study-case design and in depth interview with five families. Findings support the conclusion that resilience is a dynamic process that manifests itself in families during life.11 106 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Protocolo de familia: las empresas familiares(Hospitalidad ESDAI, 2016) ;Murguía Gutiérrez, María IsabelCampus Ciudad de MéxicoThe Familiar Protocol is a mechanism of agreements and codes of conduct which seeks to respond to the problems that may arise when implementing ownership, succession and government of a family business; situations that may affect the professional, economic, or even personal relations between family and company. It is, therefore, an individualized approach of action that seeks to harmonize business and family issues, understood as a whole. The origin of this contractual figure can be found primarily in Anglo-Saxon tradition countries, where it is considered as an indicator of good governance of family businesses, which has been extended to the rest of the countries of the European Community and the world. The need to develop a family protocol stems from the complexity of the Family Business, because of the personal and professional elements that come together in the company. Definitely, it's an instrument of articulated reflection through agreements that ensure the continuity of family companies in an ever-changing economic, globalised and competitive environment, providing them with greater professionalization. In particular, is the agreement that will help the family to become an Entrepreneur Family, joined by a common future.6 38 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Libro: Álvira Domínguez, Rafael y Rafael Hurtado Domínguez. Oikía y Polis. Pamplona: EUNSA, 2023.147 pp.(Universidad Panamericana, Instituto de Humanidades, 2023-07) ;Argadoña, AntonioUniversidad Panamericana. Campus Aguascalientes.
