Item type:Publication, Technology in mexican schools : experiences of innovative teachersThe introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the school system always implies change and disruption, and teachers are the ones who finally adopt or reject innovative pedagogies with ICT. But, who are the teachers that are the early adopters? This study seeks to understand Mexican innovative teachers by exploring their experiences in the incorporation ICT. What is their vision? Could their mindset be described? To find answers to these questions, a qualitative study was conducted using two techniques for data gathering: Personal reports and interviews with innovative teachers. In both instances, they were asked to describe how ICT transformed their teaching practices and what changes they observe in the students' learning. The analysis and interpretation of the collected narratives, effectively illustrates the mindset of innovative teachers and their daily routines in school life. Item type:Publication, Génesis de trayectorias académicas: itinerarios de profesores universitarios estudiantes de doctoradoEl objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar las trayectorias académicas de profesores universitarios que estudian un doctorado y que forman parte del cuerpo docente de tiempo completo en una institución de educación superior en la República Mexicana, con miras a favorecer una mejor comprensión de los procesos de transformación de la institución universitaria. Para realizar este estudio, se optó por un enfoque cualitativo con perspectiva fenomenológica basada en la teoría fundamentada; se utilizaron narrativas escritas desarrolladas por los profesores participantes en este estudio. Dentro de los hallazgos más relevantes, se encontró diversidad en cuanto a la génesis de la vocación académica y su consecuente trayectoria, puesto que se identificaron al menos dos tendencias: las originadas en la práctica profesional específica y las nacidas en el contexto universitario, jugando un papel importante, en unas y en otras, las condiciones institucionales de la universidad a la que pertenecen los profesores estudiantes de doctorado. Resulta también llamativo que la determinación de convertirse en académico puede suceder al inicio de la vida profesional o ya una vez experimentados otros campos de trabajo, lo cual tiene relación con el campo del saber de los estudios de pregrado, determinando que profesores que estudiaron filosofía accedieron de manera más pronta y natural al ámbito académico, lo que resulta distinto en otras profesiones que requirieron antes de involucrarse en la academia de experimentar trabajos en el ámbito profesional específico.19 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Significant research findings include the importance of training in three specific aspects: technical knowledge, virtues, and managerial competencies. Item type:Publication, Significado de la ética profesional : el caso de estudiantes de ciencias empresarialesEste trabajo de corte cualitativo tiene como objetivo mostrar los significados y experiencias de estudiantes de las áreas de ciencias económicas y empresariales en torno a la ética profesional, la cual por su misma naturaleza, no tiene como fin el mero conocimiento sino su aplicación práctica, en donde actúan los aprendizajes internalizados, como modelos para la acción. Dentro de los hallazgos más significativos se encontró que los estudiantes valoran la formación ética que les ofrece la universidad como complemento de su formación técnica, sin embargo, consideran necesario el uso de estrategias innovadoras para su enseñanza.
