Item type:Publication, Scientific production report 2023(Universidad Panamericana, 2023); ; ;Reyes Moreno, Antonio de los ;Esquivias Romero, José AntonioVelázquez Rodríguez, SergioDear university community, It is with profound pride that we present this Scientific Production Report 2023. True to our pathway in previous years, it is a source of great satisfaction to report that we have not only maintained, but also intensified our commitment to the generation of high-quality knowledge with a significant social impact. We would like to highlight that 55% of our scientific production this year was indexed in high quality journals (Q1 and Q2) in Scopus and Web of Science indexes, consolidating our position as an outstanding reference in this sphere. In addition, and for the fifth consecutive year, we continue to be the second private university with the highest production in the aforementioned indexes. These figures attest to the hard work and dedication of our researchers. Likewise, we have made significant progress in the area of Intellectual Property, obtaining four new patents. This achievement underscores our university’s strong commitment to innovation and technological advancement. Consistent with our strategy to strengthen research, we have scaled up our efforts to encourage our professors to participate in the search for external funding through research projects both nationally and internationally. Recognizing the materiality of promoting an internal cultural change in this respect, we have established specialized training programs. These programs are designed to provide our researchers with the key tools and competencies in the field. We are convinced that these actions will have a substantial positive impact on our ability to conduct state-of-the-art research and provide innovative solutions to the challenges faced by our society. © Universidad Panamericana. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Research ecosystem 2025(Universidad Panamericana, 2025); ;Velázquez Rodríguez, Sergio ;Reyes Moreno, Antonio de los; Dear campus members, It is with great satisfaction that we present our Research Ecosystem 2025, a publication that reflects the sustained growth and strategic maturation of research at Universidad Panamericana. This edition builds on an increasingly comprehensive vision of university research, one in which technology transfer and innovation, institutional funding for research, and international rankings positioning affirm themselves as complementary pillars of our scientific activity. Our scientific production maintains its commitment to quality, with more than 50% of our indexed publications appearing in high-impact Q1 and Q2 journals. This year’s report also introduces, for the first time, a dedicated section on copyright and industrial models alongside patents, reflecting the growing diversity and maturity of our intellectual property portfolio, now spanning areas as varied as aeronautics, semiconductor technology, healthcare devices, and sustainable materials. © Universidad Panamericana. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
© Universidad Panamericana. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

© Universidad Panamericana. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Cualidades y competencias del profesor universitario : la visión de los docentes(Universidad Panamericana, Escuela de Pedagogía, 2021-01-02); ; ;SARA ELVIRA DE JESÚS GALBÁN LOZANO;326937 ;CLAUDIA FABIOLA ORTEGA BARBA;271602Universidad Panamericana. Campus Ciudad de México. Escuela de PedagogíaThis research shows the characteristics of a good university professor from the perspec-tive they have about their own practice. To meet the objective, we opted for the qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective, using the semi-structured interview as an information gathering technique and the method of constant comparisons for the analysis process. Among the most relevant findings is that all of the professors consider that a good university teacher needs both personal qualities and technical competences, but that the most important consideration should be a student centered education process, along with passion for teaching and the use of didactic strategies focused on learning.28 16 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Predictive Factors of Academic Integrity in Business Students: A Quantitative AnalysisAcademic integrity among university students is a high priority. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention to address the inclination toward dishonest behaviour related to academic integrity in undergraduate students. The study focused on two specific objectives. First, it measured the intent to commit academically dishonest acts and, second, it raised awareness among the student community regarding acts that violate academic integrity as defined by the institution’s regulations. To achieve the above, a pre-experimental approach was chosen with a pretest-posttest design involving a single group based on a non-probability convenience sample with a student body of 1304 undergraduate business students, where an instrument was applied before the intervention to establish a baseline. Participants’ response to the interaction was measured with the same instrument at a later time. The findings report that, following the intervention, participants displayed a lower inclination to commit academically dishonest acts, suggesting an improvement in the perception of academic integrity. © The authors ©16 8Scopus© Citations 1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Television series use in teaching and learning professional ethics in communicationThe work presented here is an exploratory and descriptive study under a qualitative approach. It purposes was to show the use of television series, as a means of teaching and learning professional ethics in communication undergraduate students. Among the results we found two direct areas of impact: teaching and learning. In the case of teaching, the professor shows an innovative practice and she realized different ways to improve it as a continuous way to advance her teaching. In the case of learning, the use of television series promoted the interest of the students and a significant learning. However, the most important finding of this study is that the teaching experience has contributed in the educational process of communicators specifically in ethical thinking. © Media Watch.Scopus© Citations 6 7 2
